One of our pivotal achievements is the successful execution of events like Men’s Camp, where our dedication to excellence shines through. These events serve as powerful platforms for men to come together, learn, grow, and leave inspired to lead purposeful lives.

DEAN SHACKLES

Kingdom Man Director

Originally from Oakland, California, at 17 years old Dean joined the United States Army. Following a career of 32 years, Dean retired in 2014 and currently works as a contractor for General Dynamics Information Technology at Schofield Barracks.

Dean and his wife Joy have been married for 32 years and together they have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Joy is a Special Education Teacher at Helemano Elementary School. Both Dean and Joy have faithfully served at Inspire Church since 2007 in multiple capacities. From parking ministry and security to guest services and welcome team, Dean and Joy have done it all. However, in January 2020 Dean took on his current role as the Kingdom Man Director.

Dean has a passion to disciple Men from any walk of life to reach far beyond what they think is possible and to come into a true alignment and submission to God’s will. When Dean is not serving at the church or spending time with his family, he loves to hunt, fish, or go diving.
